As the civil construction sector increases, raw material exploration raises as well as impacts on the natural resources. In addition, the issues of this sector goes from the waste to incorrect segregation in the construction works, leading to a wastage amount increase. Therefore, elaborating a Building Waste Management Plan is necessary. The main objective of this work was to provide actions in order to improve the management of waste building by monitoring the Building Waste Management Plan in two buildings, a commercial and a residential. The monitoring consisted in weekly visits and it had the Action Plan as a tool, which is a document to record non conformities and actions to solve them. The commercial building was more efficient than the residential, but the latter was most effective. Both buildings had recycling policies, then the implementation of the Building Waste Management Plan fulfilled the objective, which was minimizing environmental impacts.Downloads
